The house is located 6 kilometers away from Barberino di Mugello, a "comune" (municipality) in the province of Florence with about 10,000 inhabitants and extending for an area of about 100 square kilometers. This graceful town has a major feature in being just along the A1/E35 motorway, which runs all along Italy (from Milan to Naples), so making it extremely simple and easy to be reached.
The Mugello region is situated in the north of Tuscany, offering the benefits of being both a wonderful example of tuscan countryside and a very convenient starting point for visiting Florence (45 km away) and other major cities in Tuscany and Emilia Romagna: Bologna, Modena, Lucca, Siena, Pistoia, Prato are all in a range of about 100 km of motorway/freeway.
