Casa Mangona is an old styled semi-detached country house situated in the region of Mugello in the north of Tuscany. It was built in the years immediately following the Second World War and has been reorganized over these years to fit the requirements of a modern holiday house.
Basic components of the building were rebuilt in recent times (2002): roof, floors, electrical wiring, gas heating plant. Nonetheless significant features of an old styled house are still present: thick walls, ceilings with beams, cotto pavements, fireplaces.
The house area is about 150 square meters distributed on two levels: ground and first floor. On the ground floor there is a big living room, a kitchen, a small bathroom, a double bedroom and a huge utility room. The living room has a 8-person ancient wooden table, a sofa and a fireplace. The kitchen has a 4-person table, cooker, electric oven, sink and another fireplace. The bathroom as WC, bidet, wash basin and shower. The utility room contains wood and tools.
The first floor is made of 2 double bedrooms, 1 triple bedroom (single bed + bunk bed), a kitchen and a bathroom with WC, bidet, wash basin and shower. From the first floor you access an outdoor terrace with a 6-person table and a wood stove. From the terrace you get to the garden.
